Lausanne and around

Lausanne is located in a very scenic region, offering ample sightseeing opportunities. You may enjoy strolling along the shores of Lake Geneva or take a boat ride. You could visit one of the many small, wine-growing villages offering excellent local wines. A walk through the old vineyards, with views of the lake and surrounding mountains, is an unforgettable event, at just 10 min. by train from Lausanne. You may also take a train into the mountains, which are more than 4500m high, and enjoy the gorgeous panorama views.
